I'm actually surprised to see the same 10 people posting on the forums but here is my guess : You get a lvl 80 Boost for Purchasing HoT.You get a lvl 80 Boost for Purchasing PoF.1+1 = 2In theory if you own HoT+PoF you legitimately should have 2 boosts to lvl 80 so you can play 2 classes you like at the same time and work on progression on each class. As it was mentioned by someone above, lvling
this isn't just due to high level players, its also because of repeated nerfs to central tyria because in their testing arenanet decided newer players couldn't handle the difficulty of things like "skills" and "water". this isn't sarcasm, they literally tested the game on a group of inexperienced players and determined they just couldn't handle the difficulty of the leveling zones.
I think you will enjoy it a lot. It is harder, though, a lot more challenging content at level cap and in the exps. The experience of 1-80 is the game, level cap is just more of that, but mobs use a lot more CC and hit harder. However, there is a simple solution to your perceived dilemma. Do what I did, and level alts.
This is assuming you have bonus crit crafting chance. Crit crafting chance can be obtained from Hero/Magic Find boosters, Crafting boosters, Crafting Guild Buff, and WvW bonus. The recipes to discover in each tier need to be of that level to get max xp for that discovery. 0-25: Refine mats 25-50: Discover 8 recipes 50-75: Discover 8 recipes
Well, it does say ' For advanced players. Most players will give the advice to save it for after one has leveled naturally one or more characters. Remember, that expansions are often purchased by veterans, and L80 Boosts were released initially when the game released a new Profession (so Veterans enjoyed leveling that new Profession immediately to max).

Heart of the Mists. HotM is the main hub of PvP activity in GW2, this is the lobby where most people hang out while waiting in queue. To get here simply click the crossed swords icon at the bar found in top left corner of your screen. Here PvP gear becomes active and your character is temporarily boosted to level 80.
Picking the best profession for you can be tough, especially in Guild Wars 2 . There are eight total profession Guide. Guild Wars 2. How To Craft Ascended Weapons
Reaper is a self-sufficient AoE DPS class that gets even better the less experienced its group is. Reaper's niche is that it has a huge health pool for a DPS class, and sustains very high personal Quickness, Might, and critical chance. It also brings heavy CC and Vulnerability similar to Holosmith.
After review, crafting for about $5 gets the character to max in a reported roughly 2 hours. Bear in my mind, the $5 is based off gw2crafts.net. The 2 hours is from player reports. Most how to level fast videos suggest about 25 hours or so. The difference between 2 hours and 25 hours is worth $5. I could find no better way.
and that's not counting all those bound materials that don't have a price tag but that can take a while to acquire by a solo player. According to the Guilds page under gw2efficiency, the current total cost of a maxed out guild is 15,672g, 711,262 aetherium and 57,281 favor. A lot. My guild, TACO, is a small one.
A level 25 doing a level 25 event will receive 7%. Seems pretty close in my opinion. That's about 29-30% decrease in efficiency, so if you need to go fast go for the properly leveled ones. Unless you're only planning on doing one event, in which case a 2% loss in percentage points becomes barely measurable.
As other people have said if you don't want it you can just use it on an existing character who is already level 80. They'll get a full set of exotic gear with celestial stats and the Level-80 Boost Package which contains 2g, some dyes, food and 5 teleport to friend items, among other things. All of that can be kept or deleted if you don't want it.
10 reward tracks on PvP and WvW should take 1 or 2 weeks for a casual player for lvl 80. On pure PvE it depends a lot. Without abusing dungeons I would prolly take 3 or 4 weeks for lvl 80. If you can abuse dungeons, even if carried, it wouldn't take more than 2 weeks. GW2 has a fairly easy grind.
